An idea years in the making
2020
Wander Press
In 2020, like many folks, I suddenly had a lot more time on my hands. Rather than start making sourdough, I created a letterpress Etsy shop called Wander Press to express my love of travel and design. I had my own little 5x8 Adana press and everything, creating greeting cards and postcards of our travels featuring my own calligraphy and illustrations.
Enter 2021 – Peter and I renovate our Airstream and begin living our best digital nomad lives. Keeping a printing press and inventory in a tiny home on wheels would have been tricky to say the least, so Wander Press closed its virtual doors.
2022
Trip Shirts
It all started with the Costa Rica shirt I made as a gift for our wedding guests in 2022. Everyone loved it (and still wear them to this day), and it made me so happy that I've made shirts for several group trips since. The response has always been the same: "we want more shirts" and "where can we buy more?".
We even had strangers compliment different shirts and ask where to get them. Like us, they wanted fun, unique, and well-designed shirts to remember their travels.
2023
Adventures with Pinny
I've uploaded videos to YouTube erratically since 2016 (if you remember Linny is, you're a real one and I'm sorry), but after years of not posting, in August 2023 I decided I was finally going to take it seriously.
With our new lifestyle, Peter and I were having more epic adventures than ever and I was excited to share them. And so, Adventures with Pinny was born (for real this time) and we've been posting videos of our travels ever since.
2024
Adventure Crafted
As we continue to share our travels with the world, I realized our videos provided the perfect excuse to tie in my dream of a travel merch shop where I could combine my passions.
And with so many incredible adventures on the horizon, it just made sense to finally take the time to bring Adventure Crafted to life.
